最近よく聴いているシャロン・ヴァン・エッテンの最新作「Tramp」.
彼女はアメリカのシンガーソングライターで、過去にはボン・イヴェールとコラボしたりなど、USインディー界でも注目されている人。


このアルバムは、彼女にとって３作目となるアルバム。
The National のメンバーがプロデュースを手がけた本作は、バンドサウンドが前面にうちだされていて、より深みのあるドラマチックな音に仕上がっています。少しハスキーで物憂げな彼女の歌声もすてき。


アルバムを聴いていて、浮かんでくるのはアメリカのロードトリップ映画のような風景。
絶え間なく流れていく乾いた風景、辿り着いた土地で生まれる美しくて切ない物語。


なんでもこのアルバム「Tramp」(放浪者という意味を持つ)は、彼女が各地を転々としながら作られたそうで、そういうイメージが浮かんでくるのかも。
LIVEも良さそうなのでぜひ近いうちに観たいものです。

I listen to Sharon Van Etten's new album"Tramp" a lot lately. She is an American singer song writer who is becoming popular in American indie music scene right now and she also worked with Bon Iver before. This is her third album and produced by a member of The National and this features band sounds which is deep and dramatic. I love her husky and melancholic voice. Every time I listen to this album, I feel like I'm watching an American road trip movie. The dry view passing through constantly, the beautiful and sentimental stories in each town you arrive. I've heard that she wrote songs moving place to place just like the album title "Tramp". That's why I can got that images. I'd really like to see her live someday soon.

LIVE at "ongakunojikan" Mitaka

先日、東京・三鷹にある「おんがくのじかん」で開催されたイベント『afterglow vol.1 』 “Afterglow is reflected.（It is）refracted by the prism of your eyes.”に出演しました。

今回私はLGGリーダーibuki yushiのソロのサポートとして参加。
リーダーがキーボード、私はボーカルと時々タンバリン。トップバッターというのと、大阪から遠く離れた場所でのLIVEということで少し緊張しましたが、なんとか無事？に終わりました。

こじんまりとした会場はお客さんでいっぱい。
お客さんとの距離も近く、アットホームな空間の中とても心地良く歌わせていただきました。
自分たちの出番が終わったら、あとは出演者の方たちのLIVEを楽しむだけ。ヤッホイ！
大阪ではあまり観られないライブ、さらにこれまで出演したイベントとは違うタイプの音楽を聴けて、すごく勉強になりました。


私たちの次はHonoka Sakaiさん。サポートにサエさんとアマヤさんが加わった３人編成。
ピアノの繊細な旋律に、トイ楽器をはじめとするたくさんのヤンチャな音が重なります。
躍動感ある音のアンサンブルは聴いていてとっても楽しい。
その楽器ひとつを扱う様子も見ていてすごくワクワクしました。


特に主催者でもあるアマヤさんのテルミンに夢中。ちなみに アマヤ さんはテルミン教室もされているそうです。

さかいほのか「IZUMY」

次はmauさん【from momo椿*,hyogen（表現）】　
今回はソロでの出演でアコーディオンとピアノ。北欧の妖精のような出で立ちで、囁くように歌われる姿に、引き込まれました。ポエティックかつ前衛的な歌詞もインパクト大。

最後はQuinka,with a Yawnさん

重なるアコースティックギターの音色とふんわりとしたQuinkaさんの歌声が会場全体をやさしく包み込んでくれました。私もただただうっとり。ライブ終了後、Quinkaさんと少しお話させていただいたのですが、とっても素敵な方でした。

ちなみに Quinka さんは、LGGの記念すべき初ライブを行った京都prinzsさんでLIVEされるそうなので、お近くの方はぜひ。

素晴らしい方たちと同じ時間を共有できた、とっても貴重でステキなひととき。

またぜひどこかでご一緒したいです。

On last Sunday, I performed for the music event 『afterglow vol.1 』 “Afterglow is reflected.（It is）refracted by the prism of your eyes.” which took place at "ongakunojikan" in Mitaka ,Tokyo .



 This time, I sang a little for solo stage of Ibuki Yushi, the leader of LGG. He played  keyboard and I sang and hummed with tambarine. As we were the first one played on the stage and came all the way from Osaka, I was little nervous. But anyway, I got through.

The place was small and packed with audience. They were sitting really close to stage, so I could feel comfortable and cozy. After our stage's finished, all we got to do is just have fun watching other's stages. Yey!  
Watching everyone's performance, I learned a lot of things because I had never seen their stage before and also their music style were different genre that I was familier with.


Honoka Sakai  with SAE and AMAYA.  They played melodic piano and playful sounds with toy instruments and that was amazing!  It was really exciting to see how they handle a lots of instruments. 
I was especially hooked on telmin that Amaya-san,organizer of this event, was playing. She also teaches for telmin class.

She played accordion and piano. On the stage, she was just look like a nymph from northern Europe and singing beautifully with her whisper voice. I also loved her poetic lyrics. 


The last stage was Quinka,with a Yawn. 
When they started play, the space was full with beautiful notes of acoustic guitars and her tender voice.
That was so amazing and I was just mesmerized of the music they were playing.  After the show,  I had a chance to talk with Quinka and she was such a lovely person friendly and nice.


FYI, They have a show at printz in Kyoto where we had our first live.


It was wonderful experience for me that I could share with amazing musicians.
I'd like to do live with them again.
